This is a super easy and well known recipe with a couple of added ingredients that make it so much fun for St. Patricks Day! Now that we know which vintage tee you are going to wear.. {if you don’t head to this post to figure it out!} we are going to add that perfect fun treat to your day to make it that much more tasty! This is a super simple recipe, that I literally got right off of the box of Rice Krispies and then the rest I just winged..wang..wung it? Lol you get the picture! I will share below the recipe and what I added and then show you how they turned out! They were delicious by the way and I had myself and Dustin questioning why we don’t have rice krispy treats on hand at all times
What to do
I am not even going to take credit for any of this, I followed the instructions on the box of Rice Krispies and instead of using regular marshmallows I used these colorful ones which turned them a green tint {unplanned but perfect for St. Patricks Day!}. After the marshmallows and Rice Krispies and butter were all combined I put them into a class dish {like 9x13} and pushed them down. I sprinkled on the sprinkles first and then I generously added the dehydrated marshmallows on top! YUM!
I love when you can get all of the ingredients that you need for a recipe or all of the supplies that you need for a project in one Amazon Prime box 🙌🏻 It makes it so easy and its like a reminder to do it when it shows up. I can’t be the only one that is like “I’m going to do …” and then completely forgets that it was even on the agenda. But when it show up nice and conveniently then I am ready to rock n roll. Lol
