Centrico in Downtown Disneyland Gluten Free Review

Centrico in Downtown Disneyland Gluten Free Review

When we landed at LAX we went straight to our hotel to drop the car off, walked to Downtown Disney and within about 15 minutes we ended up at Centrico which is right in the middle of Downtown Disney with a margarita in hand just in time for lunch. It was a beautiful day, we sat outside and just took in our surroundings (and honestly just took a deep breath after our super early wake up call to the airport and then our 4 hour flight to California!) The staff were super friendly and our waiter was so nice and helpful! Because we had such an early flight, we didn’t really have a chance to eat breakfast so we were pretty hungry! I will share below what we ate, drank and our ratings of everything as well!

Chips, Guac & Salsa - We started with the chips, guacamole and salsa which was so different but so good. It was house made salsa and delicious. The chips were good, so was the guacamole but the salsa was FANTASTIC! I would rate all three things 10/10 and go back to eat just the salsa over and over again haha!

Quesabirrias - This was lamb barria, cheese, guacsalsa and red onion on a corn tortilla and it was SO yummy! It was gluten free so I got to try it and YUM! 10/10!

Conchinita Pibil tacos - These tacos had Guerrero-style pork, a black bean puree, pickled onions, salsa on corn tortillas which were also very very good and gluten-free! The meals were so good, I would rate them a 9/10 and it would have been a 10/10 if there weren’t SO many pickled onions on my tacos, I had to take soooo many off!

As you can probably tell, Centrico was the perfect spot to unwind and kick off our time in California. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the margaritas hit the spot! Everything was just what we needed after a long day of travel. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, I really think this place has something for everyone. I hope my experience helps you decide what to try if you’re ever in Downtown Disney, and I definitely recommend making time to enjoy this spot!
