Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar Gluten Free Review
We actually go to Disney Springs a lot more often than we used to so when we started going more I knew we were going to have to try new spots there for their gluten free options and add to our list of places that we like to go! We have been here a few times now at this point because it is easy to walk up and find a table with the open seating outside! There are some things that I thought were good and then some things that I thought could be better so below I will share my thoughts on all of the options that I have tried from the Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs!
Chips & Queso - I don’t see this on the menu above but they might just make them in person when you mention an allergy. But honestly I wouldn’t get these again unless they changed the recipe. The chips were good but the queso was gloppy and thick and not in a great way. I would rate the chips and queso 3/10.
Burger Sliders - Again, I don’t see these on the menu above anymore but I didn’t get them too long ago so it might just be an item that they make in person! The sliders overall were good but they NEEDED a sauce or something because as we all know, the Udi’s buns are so dry! If they had a sauce I would get them again but without I wouldn’t! Without a sauce I would rate the sliders a 5/10, if they added a sauce, a 8/10!
Club Obi-Wan Wings - These were very good, the flavor was good but they were so so messy to eat. I know wings are usually a messier food but they were sticky and we were with a group of people so I didn’t eat as many as I probably would have if I wasn’t talking to friends. But like I said, the flavors are good! I am by no means a wing connoisseur, but I would rate the wings like a 6/10!
Fries - These were fried in a separate fryer and were pretty good! I added salt to them but that was just a personal preference! It is a really good add on item to any meal that you are getting while you’re here! I like the fries a lot and would rate them 9/10!
As you can probably tell from my reviews, the Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar has some upgrades to make in terms of their gluten free options. I think the restaurant has a lot of potential, they just need to pay a bit more attention to detail when it comes to these gluten free options that I listed above. That being said, I am still willing to go back and try more options so as I do that I will update this list for you guys!
